Chris is admitted to practice in Arkansas, U.S. District Court, Eastern and Western Districts of Arkansas, and the U.S. Tax Court. He graduated from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, with a B.A. in Financial Management in 1994, from the University of Arkansas School of Law with his J.D. in 1999, and from the University of Missouri at Kansas City School of Law with a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation in 2000. Chris is a member of the American Bar Association, Washington County Bar Association and the State of Arkansas Bar Association and is a member of the bar's sections on Probate & Trust and Taxation, as well as a tenured member of the House of Delegates.
Chris is a business and estate planning attorney specializing in business organization/succession planning, estate planning, asset protection planning, incapacity planning and decedent estate administration, focusing on estate planning for both large and moderate estates with specific emphasis on family wealth preservation. His administration practice includes representation of trustees, personal representatives, and beneficiaries from the beginning to the end of a trust administration or probate matter, trust reformations, tax planning, incapacity planning and guardianship, and fiduciary litigation (as well as all types of trust and estate matters). He has helped many business owners and families create custom plans to achieve their family and business dreams through financial security, asset protection, and strong family relationships.
